Extra Motorway Services - Welcome

We are proud to open the latest of our Extra motorway services.  Sixteen years in development, Beaconsfield is Britain’s most modern, new concept motorway service area and offers you, the traveller, spectacular facilities.

At Junction 2 on the M40, we fill the 50 mile gap between the M25.  From Oxford to the west; and half way round in both directions of the M25 to the east.  It also gives convenient access for the A355, Beaconsfield and Slough.

The food court, with 3,000 sq ft of glass-lined space has a full line-up of high street brands for all tastes at competitive prices.

Take time out of your busy schedule to relax by the lake and adjoining picnic area.  Enjoy eating alfresco at the large lakeside terrace, a real sun-trap, weather permitting!

Explore the extensive landscaped grounds and walk around the carefully preserved ancient woodlands and monument.

The Purple Hotels are currently closed due to The Real Hotel Company Limited which traded as Purple Hotels going into administration on 21 January 2009.
