Assist-Mi Do you need a little “Extra” assistance on your next visit?
EXTRA & ASSIST-MI PUT ASSISTANCE IN THE FAST LANE.
assist-Mi and Extra Motorway Services are excited to announce a partnership to bring revolutionary assistance to disabled customers at their Motorway Service stations across the UK.
On the 1st November 2016 Extra Services will become the first motorway service provider to offer assist-Mi to their customers, allowing them to communicate directly with Extra service staff to enquire about facilities, ask questions and/or request the assistance they need on arrival to access the various retailers on-site. The service will be available at Extra’s seven larger sites (Baldock, Beaconsfield, Blackburn, Cambridge, Cobham, Cullompton and Peterborough) from early morning until late evening and is a free service!
assist-Mi is the first solution of its kind to give organisations the ability to offer proactive assistance to guests, so the assistance is ready and waiting on their arrival. The assist-Mi app can also help users navigate their way to their nearest services, as well as chat via two messaging to staff before they turn up.
Neil Herron, co-founder of assist-Mi said “this is an extremely exciting partnership for assist-Mi and all its customers. Users travelling across the UK will now be able to get the bespoke service they need to be as independent as possible in the most accessible service stations in the UK.”
Andrew Long, Chief Executive Officer of Extra Motorway Services added “We want to give the best possible experience to our customers visiting our service stations and we are thrilled to be working with assist-Mi to ensure we offer exceptional customer service to those who may need an extra helping hand. We look forward to using it.”
Customers can download the app today on the Apple App Store and the Android Play Store!
assist-Mi is a comprehensive customer service and assistance tool for disabled users on the go, empowering them to greater independence when accessing everyday goods and services. It is available to download free from the App Store for iOS and the Play Store for Android.
assist-Mi was founded in 2010 when it was recognised that there was the need for a product where service providers can anticipate the arrival and needs of customers before they arrive, to enable bespoke assistance to be offered and an improved customer service experience.
assist-Mi uses a unique, patented combination of simple to use ‘Smart’ location-based technologies and two-way messaging.
Requests for assistance or questions about facilities and service can all be made, acknowledged and actioned in real-time.
The vision is to empower the disabled individual to greater independence. We aim to connect service providers with the disabled sector and revolutionise assistance and access everywhere.
